Established in 2016, Zombie Junk is a Sawtell based clothing label that incorporates local designs and street art into an array of hand-made garments. 

Zombie Junk’s uniqueness is fuelled by the combined backdrop of street art, beach culture and Maddy's love of the music scene.

At the start of 2016, Maddy was studying Music Business and Sound Production in Newcastle. While attending a friends gig, she broke her foot, leaving her stuck at home. Equipped with a home made screen printing press, a can of spray paint and hand cut stencils, the first Zombie Junk shirt was born. 

Eventually Maddy began to learn to make her own screens and over the years has progressively taught herself to screen print. 

The idea behind the label was to produce hand printed garments designed locally, that captures her child-like sense of wonder, never allowing reality to limit her creations. She does this by her use of quirky characters, bright colours and allowing her imagination to run wild!
